April 19th - 23rd

First Grade Happenings

We hope you had a great spring break with your families! This week has been filled with all kinds of excitement in first grade. Your child had so much fun performing contraction surgery to save the words! We will begin Iowa and Cogat testing next week. Please make sure you send a protein-rich snack and water with your child each day.

Important Dates to Remember:

Iowa Testing Week - April 19th-23rd

Please make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep and gets to school on time each day.  Testing begins promptly at 8:20 every morning. Because of testing, we will not have a spelling or Bible verse test this week. In addition, there will not be a homework sheet for the week. Please have your child read and play outside!
